The Artie’s Party Cruiser & Joe Que’s Auto Body & Friends are building a one of a kind 1964 Pontiac Safari Wagon
A truly remarkable custom creation. It’s going to be auctioned September 21st & 22nd in Saratoga Springs at the Saratoga Springs Auto Auction. All proceeds to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
Basically it was going to be to clean up the car kind of thing and sell it but that we got kind of carried away with it we’ve got over 40 companies that are involved in new motor, the transmission – everything.
Then Joe Que and his guys here at Joe Que’s Auto Body shop are doing a killer job on getting the body back in shape. We are installing new upholstery in it, plus all new parts it’s gonna be a great car!
The body came off at Joe Que’s Auto Body, the chassis and suspension parts went to PowderTech to be coated with House of Powders shiny black finish.
Currently, Joe and the crew are finishing main body prep and installing all new chassis components from Ames Performance along with there disc brake conversation kit. New springs from Detroit Spring will drop the wagon 2″ for a nice stance.
Meanwhile, at Gillins Auto Interiors in Middletown NY, they are redoing the interior in white pearl vinyl and blue Pendelton plaid wool- the same used to make the shirts the Beach Boys wore on their album cover!
The motor is being built by Jasper Engines and transmission from Joe Pirrone Transmission will be installed in the chassis soon!
